Silver candlesticks, salvers and trays in Aberystwyth
We buy silver candlesticks, salvers and trays in Aberystwyth and north Ceredigion, hallmarked or plated.
Many silver candlesticks are loaded: the base is filled to keep them steady, so the weight alone doesn't tell you how much silver there is. We price them from the marks and the condition.
Photograph the candlesticks standing up, then the marks, which are usually near the base.
What we buy
Candlesticks and candelabra, salvers, card trays and serving trays. Pairs are worth more than singles, but we buy both.
